Saigon -
Nam Cat
Tien
National
Park

Pick up in Saigon and head north by vehicle to Cat Tien National Park. About 150 kilometers or a 3.5 hour drive. Check into the park and have lunch at Cat Tien National Park Restaurant. In the afternoon jungle trek (8 kilometers), or bird watching option. The best bird watching guides in Southern Vietnam work at Cat Tien National Park. Night spotting by jeep with an opportunity to see nocturnal animals of the park including deer, civet, snakes, and feral cats. Overnight at guesthouse in Nam Cat Tien.

depart
by
vehicle

Dalat.
Breathtaking

drive).

at one

Dalat
cafes
and back
to hotel
for a
good
night's

4:
Dalat
Easy
Trek
(Meals:

Option 2 (Trekking): Stroll through the pine forest and hike to the top of Pinhatt Mountain (1,700 meters) for a view of beautiful Tuyen Lam lake. Enjoy a boat ride across the lake to visit Vietnam most beautiful pagoda. A good mix of pine forest, coffee plantations, and jungle on this trek. Moderate 4 hour walk with one strenuous uphill climb. Transfer you back to Dalat City. Overnight at hotel in Dalat.
Option 2 (Kayaking): A trip to the Highlands wouldn't be complete without exploring the beautiful lakes in the region. Nothing beats the stunning views of mountains and forests from the serenity of Tuyen Lam Lake. Head deep into the jungle on small rivers and tributaries that feed into the lake. Our flat water kayaks offer the stability of a canoe and the speed of a more traditional kayak. Get out into areas that are accessible only by water and see some of the natural beauty and wildlife Vietnam has to offer.

5:
Dalat -
Lak Lake

Leave Dalat for Lak Lake at 8 am. On the way, visit a silk worm farm, chop stick maker, and a coffee farm. Lunch at a local restaurant next to Krongno bridge. Arrive in Jun, a M'nong ethnic minority village next to Lak Lake by 2 pm. Cross Lak Lake by dug out canoe (pirogues), trek through area villages on the far side of the lake. Return by pirogues. Sleep in long house.

Leave Lak Lake for Yok Don National Park in the morning after breakfast. Stop at Drayling - the confluence of seven rivers - for sight seeing. In Yok Don park visit the old house of the elephant hunting king. Elephant riding is available in Yok Don. Drive to Buon Me Thuot in the afternoon. Dinner and night in Buon Me Thuot.

Visit the center of Buon Me Thuot in the morning, including the ethnic museum, Church of Buon Me Thuot, and central market. Leave for Nha Trang after city tour. Stop at Duc My Hot Springs. An -
Countryside

village
- the

charming
vegetable
village
located
on the
edge of
Hoi An
town.
The
village
is
famous
for its
sweet
scented
& green
vegetables
that
spice up
on the
daily
meals of
Hoi An
people:
Cao Lau
and
Quang
noodles.
The
country
road to
Tra Que
winds
through
rice
paddies
and
timeless
rural
landscapes.
At Tra
Que see
traditional
gardening
of herbs
and
vegetables.
Cycling
back to
Hoi An
town -
Known as
Faifo to
early
Western
traders,
it was
one of
South
East
Asia's
major
international
ports
and
today it
still
retains
that
special
old-world
feel. We
will
enjoy
few hour
walking
tour
through
the
narrow
winding
streets
of the
Ancient
Quarter
visiting
Chua Ong
Pagoda,
Chinese
Assembly
Halls,
the 200-
year old
Tam Ky
ancestral
house
and the
Japanese
Covered
Bridge.
After
lunch we
take a
short
boat
ride to
a nearby
island
to visit
a
handicraft
village
specializing
in
pottery
and also
the boat
building
yards.
Enjoy
beautiful
landscapes
at
sunset
on the
way back
Hoi An
in the
afternoon.

shops,

countryside.
The
wondrous
Halong
Bay is
truly
one of
Vietnam’s
most
impressive
scenic
sights.
Heading
out of
the town
we
embark
on a
boat for
an
exploration
of the
legendary
Halong
Bay.
This
exciting
five
hour
cruise
will
provide
us a
fantastic
view of
the
picturesque
scenery
blending
with the
sky and
some
3,000
limestone
islands
rising
amazingly
from the
clear
and
emerald
water.
The
limestone
karsts
formations
are
littered
with
beaches,
grottoes
and
beautiful
caves.
Along
the way
we will
anchor
for a
leisurely
swim in
a
secluded
cove and
an
enjoyable
visit to
one of
the many
hidden
grottoes
beneath
towering
cliffs.
